FIELD: film-type evaporators used in heat exchange processes; food-processing and chemical industries; power engineering; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed film-type evaporator has vertical cylindrical housing, end covers, upper and lower tube sheets, heat exchange tubes, film formers made in form of tubes mounted at spaced relation to upper ends of heat exchange tubes, pipe unions for inlet and outlet of liquid being treated, heating vapor, secondary vapor and condensate coil-shaped pipe line; all of them are located in lower part of housing; pipe union for introducing liquid to be treated is connected at one end of housing and rectilinear section is secured between tube sheets. Inlet pipe union is fitted in lower part of evaporator end cover. Device is provided with two additional upper tube sheets and one additional lower tube sheet located respectively above upper and lower tube sheets. Besides that, additional heat exchange tubes and film formers are mounted on the outside of heat exchange tubes, rectilinear section of pipe line and film formers; upper and lower ends of additional heat exchange tubes are rigidly secured in lower and upper parts of evaporator housing, additional lower tube sheet and ring-shaped plates; tubes mounted in them are secured in upper and in first additional tube sheets. Tubes mounted around rectilinear section are secured in upper and in first additional upper tube sheets for delivery of heat-transfer agent. Device is provided with tubes secured in lower tube sheet and in additional lower tube sheet for passage of liquid being treated on the outside surface of additional heat exchange tubes.
EFFECT: increased productivity of evaporator; enhanced efficiency; improved quality of liquid being treated.
