FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for preparing alkyl silanes. Platinum-containing catalyst and hydride silane are mixed completely or partially at room temperature. Prepared mixture is heated and then kept for 0.5 h, not less, without additional heating followed by addition of remaining part of reagents. The end product is isolated by vacuum distillation off. EFFECT: simplified method, enhanced effectiveness. 8 ex
