FIELD: metallurgy industry. SUBSTANCE: The invention presents a method and a system for simultaneous production of hot and cold directly reduced iron (DRI) from hot DRI continuously arriving under action of gravity forces from the routine furnace for direct reduction. The system contains the furnace unloading section used for DRI reception and unloading, the first unloading pipeline and the second unloading pipeline linked with the unloading section, a cooler of the granulated material, that is linked with the first unloading pipeline, the pipeline, container for reception of the hot granulated material is linked with the second unloading pipeline. The provides for continuous feeding of hot DRI. The first part of DRI is hermetically using gravity flow fed through the first leakproof branch pipe into the hot DRI reception container, the second part of DRI is hermetically using gravity flow fed into the container used for cooling the DRI and obtaining the cooled DRI product; the hot DRI is unloaded from the hot DRI reception container for the further transportation, bracketing or smelting. EFFECT: the invention allows to improve a method and the system for simultaneous production of the hot and cool DRI from permanently fed using gravity flow the DRI hot material, that is coming from an intermediate vessel at the temperature of 700 C or higher. 10 cl, 5 dwg
