FIELD: training appliances. SUBSTANCE: practice interference device with crystal of Iceland spar comprises illuminator, light-splitting system and observation part. Helium-neon laser is employed as illuminator. Light splitting system forms two overlapping light beams, includes short-focus lens, birefringent crystal of Iceland spar, in which primary wave is split into two parts due to division of wave amplitude, and polaroid so oriented that oscillations of o- and e beams converge to single plane if amplitudes of oscillation components are equal and makes it feasible to establish length of wave of laser radiation by means of direct measurement of all needed values. Interference picture is viewed with the help of eye-piece with ocular micrometer of observation part and two point sources are projected on to auxiliary screen by means of same eye-piece used as projection lens of high focal power. EFFECT: device is easy to manufacture, speed and simplicity of adjustment of device. 4 dwg
