FIELD: instrumentation, measurement of air humidity at home and in various technological processes. SUBSTANCE: air humidity sensor incorporates rotating hollow cylinder made of current nonconducting material. Two ring electrodes are positioned inside hollow cylinder. Circular partition produced from current nonconducting material is mounted on internal surface of cylinder, between electrodes, flush with their internal side surfaces. Thickness of circular partition amounts to 0.2-0.5 mm. Electrolytic cell formed from electrolyte H3PO4 closing electrodes and reacting to water stream is located on side surface of circular partition. Sliding electric contacts connected to measurement unit are spring-loaded against protruding edges of ring electrodes.
