FIELD: cellular communications. SUBSTANCE: proposed device and method provide for channel communications in code-division multiple access system to receive signals by terminal from plurality of adjacent base stations; to provide for more effective technical support of base stations; to ensure more effective signal reception in multibeam propagation and tap distribution; to receive signal conveyed from adjacent base station and multibeam propagation system. To this end signal transmission from base station is effected so that first commonchannel signal and initial pilot signal are sent at specified power levels and pilot signal is transferred at power level exceeding specified value within predetermined period of time. Second specialized-channel signal is passed at other power level in compliance with number of subscribers.
