FOOD CHOPPER-AND-FEEDER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to choppers and feeders of stalk food in bales or rolls. Proposed food chopper-and-feeder contains frame with fitted-on hopper with charging device in rear part, feed conveyor in bottom part and deposit chamber in front part. Food cutting chamber is arranged between deposit chamber and feed conveyor. Food cutting chamber contains counter-hammers and discharge port. Recirculation channel with guide plate is located in upper part of deposit chamber. Cutting chamber accommodates shredding rotors with vertical axis of rotation. Additional conveyor is mounted over cutting chamber. Conveyor is installed in deposit chamber in its bottom part over which, in zone of its discharge port lips, floating conveyor is installed which overlaps discharge port under any operating conditions of set. Deposit chamber conveyor and floating conveyor are provided with cross slats. EFFECT: improved uniformity of food dispensing, reduced dustiness in zone of discharge. 3 dwg
