FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining values of ratios of one-support step period of one leg in walking over single-level and hetero-leveled surface. The patient is undergone to functional loading as maximum unbending of extremity under study in walking on high surface of the podographic track. Then functional lower extremity condition coefficient is determined from formula CFS =(SS(high)/SS(single-level)- 1)x100%, where CFS is the functional lower extremity condition coefficient, SS(high) is the single-support step period in walking on high surface of hetero-leveled podographic track, SS(single-level) is the single-support step period in walking on single-level podographic track. Condition coefficient being less than 1%, bad extremity condition is to be diagnosed. The value being less than 30%, the condition is to be diagnosed as satisfactory. The value being higher than 30%, the condition is to be diagnosed as good. EFFECT: high objectivity level. 3 dwg
