FIELD: medicine; roentgenology.
SUBSTANCE: distance between spinous process CVII and SI vertebra and patient's weight are premeasured. It is followed with functional X-ray study in lateral view while patient is standing with body inclined forward at an angle 90 degrees using load to 7 kg. Load is equally distributed in two hands. Intervertebral disks height alteration is evaluated in anterior and posterior vertebral parts. In case of dislocation of overlying vertebral body relative to underlying detected, vertebra-motor instability factor is calculated by formula: N=a+b*M-c*L, where N is vertebra-motor instability factor, mm; M - patient's body weight, kg; L - distance between spinous process CIIV and SI, cm; a, b, c - linear relation coefficients, a=25.3, b=0.3, c=0.7.
EFFECT: earlier and more objective evaluation of vertebra-motor instability.
