FIELD: criminology, namely devices for identifying person, possibly organization of automated systems for passing to guarded objects and for access to data base. SUBSTANCE: pickup device for measuring parameters of limb for identifying person includes zone for fixing portion of limb surface. In said zone there is platform made with possibility of applying limb to it while providing contact of applied limb surface with surface of platform. Pickup device includes unit for determining parameters of applied limb and unit for conversion of said parameters in such a way that to transmit them to identification unit having table for comparing parameters of applied limb with parameters corresponding at least to one of persons registered beforehand in special list and for generating (if above mentioned parameters are coincided) signal of identifying person as one of persons registered in said list. It is possible to inhibit contact of limb surface with surface of platform if the last is contaminated in the result of multiple contacts. Inhibiting unit operates after termination of contact of limb surface with surface of platform. Device also includes unit for restricting platform free of contaminated regions in zone of fixing part of limb surface; said unit operates after termination of contact of limb surface with surface of platform.
