FIELD: paper-and-pulp industry. SUBSTANCE: additive, which is added to pulp before formation of paper tape in order to reduce tendency of paper to dusting, is prepared from starch with molecular weight reduced to viscosity level 10-500 mPa and which is cationized with quaternary nitrogen compound to charge level 0.36-1.46 mequ/g.
