FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out X-ray examination of a patient in horizontal position under tube swinging angle being equal to 8 deg. A layer of 2.5 cm in thickness is selected in nasomental projection enclosing maxillary sinuses, frontal sinuses and anterior cells of the frontal retiform labyrinth in one layer at the same time. Cranial frontal plane and table plane making an angle, plates of required thickness are laid under the chin to achieve parallel relation of table plane and cranial frontal plane. The tomographic slice depth corresponds to distance between the table plane to the anterior edge of external orbit angle. Then, maxillary and frontal sinuses zonogram is built.
