CURATIVE PLASMAPHERESIS METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, transfusion, intensive therapy. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out exfusion 3-4 procedures with 450-500 ml of blood that is subjected for centrifugation at 2000-2200 rev/min and temperature +22-23 C for 18-20 min. Prepared mass of erythrocytes, leukocytes and platelets is diluted with physiological solution in the ratio = 2:1 and administrated to patient by jet intravenous route. This procedure is repeated that involves one procedure of heparin- cryoprecipitate-pheresis being mass of erythrocytes-platelets-leukocytes obtained in the latter procedure in the amount 2-3 ml/kg is diluted with physiological solution in the ratio = 1:1 and after ultraviolet irradiation of cellular mass in the dose 520-560 J/m² this cellular mass is recovered to patient. Invention promotes to the enhancement of curative properties of autotransfusion, plasmapheresis and reduces time of heparin-cryoprecipitation.
