FIELD: hydrogenation-dehydrogenation catalysts. SUBSTANCE: method comprises ultrasonically affecting alumina-supported palladium-containing polymeric catalyst in toluene using ultrasound frequency 20-22 kHz and ultrasonic irradiation intensity 4-30 W/sq.cm for 30 to 180 sec. Increase in ultrasonic irradiation time was found to improved catalyst characteristics. EFFECT: increased catalytic activity in hydrogenation of acetylenic alcohols. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
