SUBSTANCE: melt applied onto moving belt has thickness as uniform as possible and similar properties along band width. In order to provide uniformness of metallic film along its width, gas flow inclined by angle 0 - 80 degrees relative to normal line is guided onto surface of metallic film opposite relative to flowing direction of cast metallic film. Apparatus includes at least one row of gas nozzles arranged along width of band opposite relative to motion direction of conveyor belt.
