FIELD: organic chemistry, herbicides, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new derivatives of phenylsulfonylurea of the general formula (I) that elicit herbicide and plants growth-regulating properties and can be used in agriculture. In compounds of the formula (I) R¹ means acyl residue of the formula SO₂-R¹⁰ or CO-Q-R¹¹; R², R³, R⁴, R⁵ mean hydrogen atom; R⁶ means hydrogen atom or alkyl with 1-6 carbon atoms; R⁷ means acyl residue taken among the group including formyl, alkylcarbonyl with 1-4 carbon atoms in alkyl moiety possibly substituted with halogen atom, alkoxy-group with 1-4 carbon atoms, alkenylcarbonyl with 2-4 carbon atoms in alkenyl moiety, alkynylcarbonyl with 2-4 carbon atoms in alkynyl moiety, alkoxycarbonyl with 1-4 carbon atoms in alkyl residue, alkoxycarbonylcarbonyl with 1-4 carbon atoms in alkyl residue, alkylsulfonyl with 1-4 carbon atoms in alkyl moiety possibly substituted with halogen atom, cyclocarbonyl with 3-6 carbon atoms, mono- or dialkylaminosulfonyl with 1-4 carbon atoms in alkyl moiety, phenylcarbonyl, phenylsulfonyl or group of the formula (1) or (2) ; or R⁶ and R⁷ form in common chain of the formula (-CH₂)_m1B¹- wherein m1 = 3 or 4; B¹ means SO₂ or CO; Q means oxygen or sulfur atom; T^° means sulfur atom; W^° means oxygen or sulfur atom; W means oxygen atom; R⁸ means hydrogen atom; R⁹ means hydrogen atom or methyl; R¹⁰ and R¹¹ mean alkyl with 1-6 carbon atoms; R¹² means alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms; R¹³ and mean independently of one another hydrogen atom or alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms; A means residue of the formula (3) wherein X means halogen atom, alkyl with 1-3 carbon atoms or alkoxy-group with 1-3 carbon atoms possibly substituted with halogen atom; or group N(C₁-C₄-alkyl)₂, under condition that Y doesn't mean group NH(C₁-C₄-alkyl); Y means alkyl with 1-3 carbon atoms or alkoxy-group with 1-3 carbon atoms possibly substituted with halogen atom; or group NH(C₁-C₄-alkyl), under condition that X doesn't means group N(C₁-C₄-alkyl)₂; Z means CH or nitrogen atom, and their salts.
