FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for preparing 1-phenyl- -trans-3,4-dialkylphospholanes of the general formula: wherein R is . Method involves interaction of α-olefins with ethylaluminium chloride and metallic magnesium in the presence of Cp2ZrCl2 as a catalyst, in argon atmosphere, in solvent medium for 8 h followed by addition at temperature 15 C of CuCl as a catalyst and phenyldichloride phosphine and the following stirring reaction mass at room temperature for 8-12 h. Indicated compounds can be used in fine organic synthesis, as plasticizing agents, fireproof impregnating agents for cellulose nitrate and acetate, in production of insecticides, as addition agents for improvement gasoline and lubricating oils quality, as surface-active substances in textile industry. Invention provides preparing individual 1- phenyl-trans-3,4-dialkylphospholanes with high regio- and stereoselectivity. EFFECT: improved preparing method. 1 cl, 1 tbl, 13 ex
