COCK ADJUSTER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: heating systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed adjuster is designed for cocks of heating radiators. Adjuster contains branch pipe 2 for connecting to cock member profiled with preset pitch, ring adapter 7 made for connecting with branch pipe 2 without turning and section 10 profiled with preset pitch and made for bringing into engagement with profiled section of cock without turning. Adapter 7 can be installed on branch pipe 2 in axial direction. Branch pipe 2 is enclosed by clamping device 5. To facilitate mounting of adjuster on cock body and removing the adjuster, adapter is made for fixing on branch pipe 2 with clamping device 5 nonclamped in locking seat to prevent unpremeditated removal.
