FIELD: medicine, applicable for medicinal, sporting and sanitary-prophylactic hydromassage. SUBSTANCE: the shower-massage apparatus has a body connected to the water-supply line, swirler and a vortex chamber. The vortex chamber and the swirler are installed in the body for mutual movement in the common axis so that the tangential canals made in the inlet section of the vortex chamber would be partially or completely closed, and a diaphragm installed in the outlet expanding section of the vortex chamber in a spaced relation to the end face surface, the diaphragm has a great number of small through holes in the periphery and one large central hole, in which a throttle with a central through hole is installed for axial motion. Installed from external side of the body for axial motion is a resonator made in the form of a rod and two cavities separated by an elastic partition, the first of them is sealed and filled with an expandable medium, and the second one at axial motions of the rod may be connected either to the axial zone of the vortex chamber through the central hole, or to the atmosphere - through the radial holes in the rod and body and drain tube. EFFECT: enhanced medicinal effect of hydromassage procedures due to expansion of the range of the medicinal factors: creation of the field of bioresonant frequencies, introduction of medicinal agents to the zone of massage, smooth control of the parameters of pulsations and gas saturation, production of new kinds of massage jets of the volume-drop type. 2 cl, 2 dwg
