FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a plastic composition for production of materials imitating minerals. The plastic composition includes a cross-linked polymer in the form of particles dispersed in a thermoplastic matrix, where: ( ) the composite plastic composition contains 10-45 mass % of the cross-linked polymer mass with respect to the mass of composite plastic composition, and the cross-linked polymer has size of particles essentially of 0.2-1.2 mm; (b) the cross-linked polymer contains 0.1-15 mass % of an inert filler and 0.1-20 mass % of the cross-linking agent with respect to the total mass of cross- linked polymer; and ( ) the cross-linked polymer by appearance differs from the thermoplastic matrix. Besides there are descriptions of the method of production of the composite plastic composition, the method of production of an article from the material imitating minerals, of the extruded sheet material and the molded thermoplastic material.
