FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transmission mechanisms of internal combustion engines. Proposed engine-reduction contains crankcase, slider-crank and crank-timing mechanisms, cooling, lubrication and fuel systems, and hydraulic pressure clutches installed in gearbox. According to invention, drive gears of different diameter are installed on crankshaft being coupled with drive drums of hydraulic pressure clutches, and driven drums of hydraulic pressure clutches are rigidly secured on drive shaft. Engine is furnished with diametrically arranged unit of hydraulic pressure clutches whose shafts are provided with wheels in meshing with idler gear. Change of direction of oil delivery to hydraulic pressure clutches makes it possible to change gear ratio and provide reversing. EFFECT: reduced mass, simplified design. 1 dwg
