FIELD: measuring technology. SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in measurement in pressure chamber of action of jet engine on primary converter through intermediate element. Engine installation with equipment on which it is installed is so brought to zero gravity that point of force recording is located on one axis with center of mass of system comprising engine installation and equipment and point of application of thrust vector. Reactions in attachment points of zero gravity system, in point of force recording and thrust vector of engine installation cross in one point matching center of mass of system. Force equal to anticipated thrust of engine installation is created beforehand across pickups recording force. Electric decoupling between engine installation and pickups is ensured. Bed includes support, force pickup 7 linked to recorder, intermediate element to transfer force. Engine installation 8 is positioned on mobile platform coming in the form of plate 3 suspended in vertical plane from one point by face surface. Tested engine installation 8 is placed on one side of plate 3 and its scale model displaying same dimensions and weight is positioned on the other side. Adjustable balance weights 10 are put on plate in addition. Threaded holes with thin-walled dielectric bars 5 installed in one of them as minimum are made in at least three points on face surface and perpendicular to installation plane of scale model displaying same dimensions and weight.
