FIELD: utilization of electrochemical noise. SUBSTANCE: system for realization of procedure has one working electrode, counter-electrode, comparison electrode and measurement system establishing potential difference between working electrode and comparison electrode. Procedure includes measurement of potential between working electrode and comparison electrode in open circuit in the course of specified time interval, switching to potentiostatic control, measurement of current between working electrode and counter-electrode. Measured potential and current are used to establish rate of general corrosion and rates of local corrosion. EFFECT: simplified procedure and its raised accuracy. 7 c, 10 dwg
