FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a sensor system, a device and methods for determining concentration of an analysed substance in a sample. Sequences of strobed amperometric pulses, which include multiple operating cycles of successive excitations and relaxations, ensure a shorter analysis time and/or improve accuracy and/or reproducibility of analysis.
EFFECT: disclosed sequences of strobed amperometric pulses can reduce analysis error, which is a result of hematocrit effect, change in volume of the base gap, transient states, mediator background, underfilling, temperature changes in the sample and single set of calibration constants.
