FIELD: control over bactericide ultraviolet radiation. SUBSTANCE: method includes selection of working band of frequencies and radiation recording by gaseous-discharge detector. Salient feature of method lies in that gaseous- discharge detector is filled with active gas working medium containing mercury vapors. Operational voltage is decreased to level of limit of sensitivity of detector to long-wave ultraviolet and visible radiation. Intensity of bactericide ultraviolet radiation is evaluated by reduced drop of voltage across discharge gap with stabilized working current. EFFECT: possibility of usage of bactericide ultraviolet lamp in the capacity of gaseous-discharge detector of bactericide ultraviolet radiation. 1 dwg
