FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: grinder has receiving chamber and rotor mounted inside said chamber. Pins are immovably fixed on receiving chamber. Grinding rotor has drive pulley and pins arranged in rows on cylindrical surface thereof. Pin pitch in each row is smaller than average cutting length by 1.4-1.8 times. Angle between axial lines of adjacent rows on rotor is equal to angle between axial lines of adjacent rows of immovable pins on receiving chamber. Gap between side faces of pins on rotor and immovable pins on receiving chamber is greater than average diameter of stalks under grinding process by 1.2-1.4 times. EFFECT: reduced power consumption. 2 dwg
