FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring facilities and it can be used for weighing running cars of trains on electronic track scales. Method includes wheel-by-wheel measuring of gross mass of running car with subsequent subtracting of car net mass and determining mass of load in car. Horizontal displacement of car gravity center from its central longitudinal axis and general coordinates of gravity center of car with loose load are found by difference in gross masses distributed between left-hand and right-hand sides of car. To evaluate safety, obtained results are compared with tolerable of general coordinates of car gravity center. EFFECT: improved reliability of results of measurement. 2 cl, 2 tbl, 3 ex, 5 dwg
