METHOD FOR DETECTING EFFICIENCY OF MEDICINAL THERAPY AT ULCEROUS DUODENAL DISEASE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2223028 C1

FIELD: medicine, gastroentelrology. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out intragastral pH monitoring continuously beginning since the onset of therapy and during the day at injecting medicinal preparation. It is necessary to detect the following values: time since the intake of medicinal preparation till increased value of gastric body pH and antral department by more than 4 U (tn), duration of gastric body pH period being above 4 U (t), availability of gastric body pH space being below 4 U between injections of preparation (P) and its duration (tp), availability of nocturnal periods of gastric body pH below 2 U (NG) and their total duration (tng), quantity of esophageal pH episodes below 4 U in percentage both before and after intake of preparation (GER), duration of the longest esophageal pH episode below 4 U in percentage both before and after intake of preparation (tGER). Medicinal preparation is considered to be efficient at: tn 1.6 + 0.7 h, t 13.2 + -1.0 h, absence of P and NG, GER <16,1%, tGER <35,9%, of low efficiency at: tn 3.0 + -0.6 h, t 10.7 + -1.1 h, P <1,9+/-0,5 h, NG <1,9+/-0,1 h, GER <38,7%, tGER <62,3%; inefficient either at the absence of increased gastric body pH for 4 h or at: tn >3,8+/-0,2 h, t <8,9+/-0,6 h, P >3,2+/-0,3 h, NG >3,6+/-0,4 h, GER >79,1%, tGER>90,4%. EFFECT: increased accuracy of detection. 1 cl, 3 ex, 2 tbl
