METHOD FOR RETROPUBIC RADICAL PROSTATECTOMY AT PROSTATIC CANCER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, urology. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out suprapubic access, perform pelvic lymphadenectomy, cross dorsal venous complex and urethra, dissect prostate against a bladder, apply vesicourethral anastomosis. Moreover, one should make incision of 3-4 cm length. Due to retroperitoneoscope one should perform lymphadenectomy. To isolate dorsal venous complex at rear surface of penis it is necessary to make incision of 1-2 cm length to tighten distal end of dorsal venous complex. Proximal end of dorsal venous complex should be tightened from the side of retropubic access. One should apply hinged retractors.
