FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating hernia of anterior abdominal wall. One should form duplicatures of lateral and medial aponeurosis leaves of external oblique abdominal muscle, fix the edge of medial leaf towards Poupart's ligament, fix the edge of lateral leaf parallel to rectus muscle of stomach towards external surface of medial leaf and suture formed duplicatures of aponeurosis leaves. Before suturing, between lateral and medial aponeurosis leaves one should apply granules out of porous titanium nickelide at particles size being 100-1000 mcm at the quantity of 20-80% area of lanced inguinal channel. The method enables to prevent relapse of inguinal hernia. EFFECT: higher efficiency of surgical therapy. 1 ex
