FIELD: packaging equipment. SUBSTANCE: locking device for packaging boxes is used for adjacent walls side parts connection. Device has locking tong formed on one side part and receiving orifice for tong insertion formed on the other side part. Device also comprises fixing members located on tong and made as at least one projection for tong fixing. Receiving orifice is formed as elongated slot. Orifice width exceeds thickness of side part to which tong is connected. Segment cut is formed in slot central part such that orifice width in segmented cut area is less than tong height. Fixing projection arranged in tong central part is formed by vertical and horizontal cuts, having common point of convergence. Horizontal cut end extends along tong fold line. Part of horizontal end located between horizontal cut end and common point of convergence with vertical cut is arranged in wall area under tong fold line and forms shoulder.
