FIELD: packing. SUBSTANCE: partition made of cardboard or thick paper is designed for placing into space of box container. Partition forms cells for stowing piece articles and it has vertical longitudinal and cross plates arranged at a distance from each other and provided with vertical slots. Y-shaped slots on some plates are made from lower edge towards upper edge terminating in straight cut, and in other plates, they are directed from upper edge to lower one. Depth of Y-shaped slots made in plates and directed from upper edge to lower one is less in size then half the plate height, and depth of slots directed from lower edge to upper edge is greater than half of plate height. Width of slots considerably exceeds thickness of plates. Cut provides definite clamping of plates even if the plate is not driven in completely. EFFECT: reduced labour input in assembling partitions, increased labour productivity at stowing articles. 9 cl, 6 dwg
