FIELD: packing means, particularly packages.

SUBSTANCE: partition comprises spaced vertical plates formed of cardboard or heavyweight paper and having slots. The first plates are perpendicular to second ones and the first plates are inserted in slots of the second plates to define cells for articles to be packaged. Slots of the first plates extend from lower edges to upper ones, slots of the second plates extend from upper edges to lower ones. Slots are arc-shaped and widen in plate side direction. Plates have extensions partly closing slots near plate edges. Extensions are formed near plate edges in slot areas and extend in longitudinal plate direction. Extension of one plate extends in slot of another plate. When partition is moved in its folded state extension lays on surface of another plate.
