FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely processes for making cold rolled isotropic electrical steel. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of melting, hot rolling, normalizing, etching, decarburizing- recrystallization annealing; selecting phosphorus concentration in metal depending upon silicon content according to equation P = -0,004[Si,%]2-0,02[Si,%]+0,168±0,02% at changing silicon content in range 1.4 - 3.4%. Such equation is satisfied when carbon content in steel after melting is no more than 0.015%. EFFECT: enhanced electromagnetic properties of cold rolled isotropic electrical steel. 1 ex, 1 tbl
