FIELD: juice industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding juice into resin having excessive amount of micropores with minimal width less than , with at least pore surface being capable of retaining petuline by chemical absorption force; removing juice with reduced petuline content. Method for regeneration of microporous resin comprising petuline in its pores involves generating gas ammonia or volatile base in ambient liquid medium having increased pH value and comprising petuline-contaminated resin. Amount of substance generated must be sufficient for transformation of petuline held in pores into readily washed out petuline derivative or derivatives and washing it out. EFFECT: increased efficiency in reducing of petuline concentration in fruit juices. 28 cl, 13 dwg, 5 tbl
