FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with surgical removal of tumors in central departments of cranial bottom. Through trepanation opening developed due to cutting osseous fragment in interorbital space one should resect osseous Rydel's area and, step by step, anterior, middle and posterior cells of latticed labyrinth to achieve anterior wall of the main antrum followed by its resection and that of sella turnica. Depending upon direction of tumor growth one should additionally carry out anterior, posterior or lateral extension. The method enables to achieve better results due to radical removal of large and giant hypophysial adenomas at minimum invasion. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 ex
