FIELD: tire industry; automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed pneumatic tire with radial carcass contains ridge formed by at least working layers with axial width exceeding axial width of additional reinforcement made of nonstretchable radial strengthening members placed in radial direction between working layers and consisting of three parts in axial direction, namely, central part in form of layer made of metallic nonstretchable radial strengthening members with some axial width, and two side parts in form of strips, each made of circular strengthening members. Modulus of elasticity per width unit of one said side strip does not exceed modulus of elasticity measured for most stretchable working layer under the same conditions.
