FIELD: tire industry; transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medium or heavy trucks. Proposed pneumatic tire with radial carcass contains ridge formed by at least two working layers of ridge formed of non- stretchable strengthening members intersection from one layer to the other and forming in circumferential direction the angles within 10^o and 45^o. Axial width of working layers exceeds axial width of additional layer formed of metallic nonstretchable and essentially radial strengthening members. Additional layer is arranged radially between working layers, and said working layers are connected at one and other side from equatorial plane and in direct axial extension of additional layer on axial length being not less than 3.5% of maximum axial width, and then is separated by means of shaped members of rubber mix on remaining part of common width of two working layers.
