FIELD: railway transport; brake systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed shoe has metal framework and polymeric composite friction member. Metal framework is essentially frame and perforated backplate covered with polymeric composition. Invention precludes tear-off of backplate in service at impact loads, especially if shoe is made two layer-or multiplayer.
