FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: waste water undergoes filtration through silica gel-based sorbent until sorption equilibrium is attained. Silica gel (96.5-98.0%) for sorbent is fraction 3.0-5.0 mm modified with oligoethylhydroxylsilane (2.0-3.5%) at 160-200 C. Waste water treatment is carried out at 5 to 95 C and filtration velocity is 23-29 m/sec. EFFECT: increased degree of clearing and enabled its use at elevated temperature and high filtration velocity. 4 tbl
