METHOD FOR PREPARING OLEFIN-UNSATURATED NITRILES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for preparing olefin-unsaturated nitriles. Method involves reaction of lower alkanes or alkenes with oxygen and ammonia in gaseous phase in the presence of steam and suitable catalyst, at increased temperature in ammoxidation reactor to yield in outlet gaseous flow including nitrile, unreacted reagents and by-side products. Then hot gaseous flow is passed through reverse jet scrubber wherein hot gaseous flow is cooled rapidly by its contact with cooling liquid injected by countercurrent to indicated gaseous flow moving direction and ammonia removing. Gaseous flow is passed through reverse jet scrubber at effective rate value that allows to alternate flow direction of injected cooling liquid to reverse direction with evaporation of part of injected cooling liquid. Method provides reducing temperature of exhausting gaseous flow and to cease undesirable by-side reactions. EFFECT: improved preparing method. 26 cl, 1 dwg
