FIELD: extraction of noble metals from sludge, used catalysts, ore etc. SUBSTANCE: method involves treating basic material with reactant solution while exposing to microwave field and transferring metals in solution. Treatment of basic material is performed with the use of acid and/or oxidizer used as reactant for producing of suspension from basic material and reactant solution. Power generated in unit of volume of suspension is maintained in the range of 100-10,000 kW/cu.m. Radiation is provided until suspension reaches boiling temperature.
