FIELD: precious metal technology.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises treatment of starting material with a reagent under microwave irradiation to transfer precious metals into solution. Treatment is carried out, in particular, with acid and/or oxidant as reagent to form suspension of starting material and reagent, which suspension is then subjected to vibration stirring realized by vertical vibration of suspension by maintaining product of amplitude by circular frequency within the range 0.15-1.0 m·rad·s-1. Irradiation is effected until boiling temperature is attained. Acid and/or oxidant utilized can be HCl and/or Cl2, HCl and/or H2O2, HCl and/or Br2, HCl and/or NaClO3, HCl and/or HNO3, mixture of HF and HCl and/or HNO3, mixture of H2SO4 and HCl and/or H2O2, mixture of HCl and HBr and/or H2O2, mixture of HCl and HI and/or NaClO3 and I2, HCl and/or Cl2 and Br2.
EFFECT: increased degree of precious metal recovery.
