Abstract RU 2224108 C2

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to technology of mining of new gently dipping coal seams which working is complicated by disjunctive disturbances. Process of development of thick gently dipping coal seams includes development of coal seams in layers by powered mining complex with discharge of coal benches from under roof or between layers on to conveyer of complex-powered breakage face. First upper layer of seam containing disjunctive disturbance is developed with entry into zone of seam disturbance from side of fault. Difficult to cave top of seam is converted to category of easy or medium caving with the use of advanced shot-firing operations in rocks of seam top or by method of hydrodynamic stratification of rocks of seam top. Footing of seam is developed by entry into disturbance zone of seam from side of reverse fault. After passage through disturbed zone of seam powered mining complex is transferred to seam ground and the rest of excavation column is worked with discharge of coal from interlayer bench. Operation of transfer of powered mining complex to seam ground is executed upon its complete passage through disturbed part of seam.
