SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mining, in particular to the selective excavation of shallow coal beds. Method includes the preparation of a extraction column by carrying out conveyor and ventilation drifts and the installation chamber, breaking and loading the chopped coal onto the downhole conveyor by a shearer, destruction of solid mass of underlaying strata by the dynamic action on the part of the roof section by the cleaver and the release of the coal of the underlaying strata onto the downhole conveyor. Separation of streams of rock mass due to a pause when loading them into a transport device - downhole conveyor. When preparing the extraction column, valuable chemical elements and zones of their concentration are identified not only by the thickness of the formation, but also in the adjacent rocks of the roof by drilling wells into the ceiling of the development and determination of the material composition of the drill cuttings – additional exploration. Comparison of the results of additional exploration establishes the spatial orientation of each concentration zone of valuable chemical elements within the extraction column by measuring the angle of displacement between the conditional distribution line of the zone of concentration of valuable chemical elements and the line of the extraction face. Depending on the displacement angle, a possible number of roof sections simultaneously located in the zone of concentration of chemical elements is determined, and the mode of their operation for the production of rock mass onto the downhole conveyor is established. In addition, a number of wells are drilled from the working area of the extraction face into the parting rocks in the wedging zone, followed by rapid analysis of the material composition of the drill cuttings. When confirming the industrial concentration of valuable chemical elements, the next roof sections work with the release, otherwise – without.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of extraction.
