FIELD: devices for heating working media; power and engine plants of spacecraft. SUBSTANCE: proposed heat accumulator includes heat accumulating unit consisting of set of heat accumulating modules which are axi-symmetrical; they consist of external and internal elements which are compatible by mass; slit formed between these elements is used for flowing and heating of working medium; device is also provided with shield-vacuum heat insulation and working medium inlet and outlet branch pipe. On end face of each module there are passages for delivery and discharge of working medium; working medium supply passages are connected via pipe lines to inlet collector located beyond boundaries of shield-vacuum heat insulation and discharge passages are connected to outlet collector under layer of shield-vacuum heat insulation; outlet collector is provided with load-bearing struts securing the heat accumulating unit to load-bearing frame located beyond boundaries of shield-vacuum heat insulation. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat exchange; enhanced resistance to thermal shocks; reduced mass of heat accumulator. 6 cl, 3 dwg
