FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: heat accumulator is intended for gas flow heating using heat energy accumulation, and can be applied in power propeller aggregates of spacecrafts for periodic accumulation of heat energy with further heating of working medium, such as hydrogen, flowing through accumulator. Heat accumulation unit consists of heat accumulation module set with sealing elements, collector and working medium inlet pipes, heat insulation and carrying frame. Each heat accumulation module and respective socket in working medium outlet collector feature guiding site and thread in front of sealing element at the side of working medium outlet collector. Clearance between each module and respective socket in working medium outlet collector is filed with glue and guiding sites and thread. Glue with thermal stability exceeding working medium heating temperature is selected.

EFFECT: protection of sealing elements against hot hydrogen access, therefore higher operational fail-safety and reliability.
