FIELD: optimization of the process of cooling of circulating water in counterflow chimney-type and mechanical-draft cooling towers. SUBSTANCE: the nozzle for a heat-exchange apparatus has volumetric, long-measuring, lattice elements with a surface consisting of tetragonal cells formed by intersection of polymeric rods, 1 to 4 mm thick, the volumetric, long-measuring, lattice elements are assembled with a parallel or crossing direction of their axes in hollow blocks, the area of each tetragonal cell equals 0.1 to 0.5 of the area of section of the element proper, and the ratio of the cross-section area of the hollow block shell to the cross-section area of its air gap equals 0.1 to 10. The hollow blocks in cross section have a hollow profile in the form of a ring, or a semi-ring, or an ellipse, or a sector, or a segment, or a petal figure with the number of petals within 2 to 8. The ratio of the maximum dimension of the profile of cross-section of the hollow block to its length makes up 1 to 10. In the apparatuses the hollow blocks are laid in 1-6 layers with a parallel, or perpendicular, or crossing direction of their axes in layers. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat exchange. 4 cl, 2 dwg
