FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method involves polymer melt extrusion through channels of two head spinnerets in the form of hollow grid arbor mouthpiece to form hollow grid mouthpiece on the cooled arbor, which takes form of the arbor surface. Spinneret channels are made on their outer and inner surfaces in the hemicylindrical form. Spiral surface is made at shape-generating arbor part. Central spinneret and ring spinneret encircling it are rotated in opposite directions. Arbor is rotated and cooled down, forming a spiral hollow mouthpiece with grid surface and fiber thickness of 1 to 4 mm. During extrusion a drawing device shifts the obtained mouthpiece along the arbor, and the mouthpiece shift speed in respect of the extruder head is changed by changing arbor torque and drawing device force. Due to it fiber thickness and grid cell size and form are adjusted by drawing-out fibers forming grid mouthpiece surface.
EFFECT: extended range of products with complex surface and spiral wall.
