FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering, namely, to attachments of contact heat and mass transfer devices, and can be used as a part of low-pressure equipment at the facilities of circulating water supply and cooling of water in tower and fan cooling towers. Above attachment for the heat and mass transfer device contains a long-length grating-type element, encompassing its outer contour and inner frame, whose flexible components permeate the cells of the long-meshed grating-type element and interlace with the outer contour, wherein the long-length grating-type element inside the outer contour is repeatedly bent to form parallel or oblique layers.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of water cooling by 15–20 %.
